JMC E-Fushun: Pure Electric Van for Urban Logistics

2025-10-23

To accelerate the electrification of urban logistics, JMC Motors launched the E-Fushun, a brand-new pure electric commercial vehicle built on its next-generation EV platform.
Unlike traditional fuel-to-electric conversions, this model was designed from the ground up as an electric vehicle, setting new benchmarks in space efficiency, safety, energy savings, and smart integration. The E-Fushun aims to meet the growing global demand for efficient and sustainable logistics solutions.

New-Generation Pure Electric Platform

The E-Fushun is built upon JMC’s all-new pure electric commercial vehicle platform, which supports multiple models — including cargo vans, passenger vans, mini trucks, and light trucks.
Thanks to integrated JMC technologies, the platform reduces overall energy consumption by 12%, enabling lower operational costs and higher fleet efficiency. It is designed for all scenarios, all categories, and global applications, positioning JMC as a pioneer in the EV commercial sector.

Smart Aerodynamic Design

The classic short head shape is round and full, the streamlined design is clearly visible, and the addition of a closed front grille enhances the vehicle’s appearance. The front face is a classic “white and black” color scheme, simple yet full of technology.

Opening the hood reveals the readily accessible fluid refill ports, positioned high and conveniently for refilling. The wide spacing between the various electronic components and wiring harnesses reduces the risk of accidental access during subsequent maintenance.

Efficient Power and Safety Technology

The power battery is located in the center of the vehicle, enclosed by the side skirts. A charging port is located above each front wheel. CATL’s battery quality is undeniable. The E-Fushun offers two power options: 41.86kW·h and 53.58kW·h, with a range of approximately 265km and 340km, respectively. These options are sufficient for daytime work, while charging at night allows users to enjoy discounted electricity prices during off-peak hours.

The E-Fushun uses a coaxial electric drive system. It offers two motor options. These deliver either 60kW or 90kW of peak power. Maximum torque is 220N·m or 240N·m. The front axle features a McPherson independent suspension. In contrast, the rear axle uses a leaf spring suspension. This design ensures excellent load-bearing capacity. It also maintains low maintenance costs. The vehicle adopts the latest EHB technology. This provides faster braking response. It effectively shortens braking distance. This enhancement ensures safety for passengers and cargo. It includes 22 advanced technologies. One example is brake energy recovery. These features lower operating costs. They also significantly improve user benefits.

Spacious Design and Flexible Configurations

E-Fushun offers short-axle, mid-axle, low-roof, and mid-roof models for different users. The vehicle photographed is a mid-axle, low-roof version, measuring 5185×1890×1985mm and boasting a cargo box volume of 7.7m³. To meet the growing demand for vehicle volume in the freight market, E-Fushun offers cargo boxes up to 9.4m³.

While meeting transportation needs, Jiangling Motors has never neglected vehicle safety. The E-Fushun’s body is constructed of high-strength steel, comprising up to 77% of the vehicle’s construction. This allows it to meet 14 battery pack crashworthiness requirements and the latest ENCAP EU crash safety star rating, ensuring safe and worry-free operation.

The cargo box is square and convenient for stacking goods. The two vertical lights and high-mounted brake lights provide clear warning effects.

The tailgate opens 270 degrees and is magnetically secured to the body to prevent it from swinging. The cargo version’s interior is unobstructed except for the wheel wells. Pull tabs on the body and floor help secure cargo, and the floor is also treated with a non-slip finish.

Human-Centered Interior and Practical Features

The number of seats in the passenger version can be customized. Even after the vehicle is arranged with double rows of seats, there is still plenty of space, and there is no restriction on movement inside the vehicle.

The leather elbow rest is very wear-resistant, and the front button area is black, dirt-resistant and easy to maintain.

The interior is decorated in gray and black, with three seats. Legroom is ample, making the ride comfortable. Thanks to the flat seat and low-positioned parking brake, the driver only needs to lay down a mat to rest.

The steering wheel adopts a D-shaped flat-bottom design and is adjustable at multiple angles, which reduces the driver’s space encroachment during driving and improves driving comfort. The hand-shifting design is convenient and practical, and also saves interior space.

The space in front of the steering wheel is not wasted, and multiple storage spaces are separated, with a cup holder reserved on the left side.

The ECO mode button and light group control button are placed on the left side of the steering column.

The central control position is designed to be more practical, with the radio, air-conditioning vents, and air-conditioning operating knobs arranged from top to bottom.

The central storage space also has a mobile phone charging port.

The curvature of the vehicle’s front windshield is relatively large, which is very friendly to taller drivers and less obstructs their vision.

Conclusion

Built on JMC’s cutting-edge electric platform, the E-Fushun delivers the perfect balance between power, safety, economy, and adaptability. The E-Fushun is more than a vehicle — it is a key driver in the transformation of urban logistics, helping businesses move toward a cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable future.
