Two battery configurations are available to match specific operational needs. The 400.62 kWh pack provides over 500 kilometers of range, suitable for medium and long-distance trunk routes. The 291.65 kWh version covers 350 kilometers, ideal for urban and short-distance regional transport. Operators can select the appropriate option based on route planning and budget. A multi-level energy recovery system captures kinetic energy during braking and coasting. This feature improves range in stop-and-go conditions and optimizes overall energy consumption.
The truck is equipped with a Bosch TZ230XS004 drive motor. Peak power reaches 255 kW with 450 Nm of torque. Acceleration is immediate, and hill climbing capability is ample. An AMT transmission multiplies torque for demanding gradients. Rotary gear selection and electronic parking brake simplify operation. Driver workload is reduced during long shifts, improving comfort and turnaround efficiency.
The 18-ton gross vehicle weight rating supports substantial payloads. Lightweight components include parabolic leaf springs and aluminum air reservoirs. Braking uses front disc and rear drum configuration. Regenerative braking assists deceleration on long descents. This dual approach enhances safety and stability throughout every journey.
The AEBS active safety system comes standard. Additional features include occupant protection, seatbelt reminders, speed alerts, and right-turn warnings. Brake pad wear monitoring prevents unexpected downtime. A full digital operating system supports fleet management, remote vehicle control, OTA updates, and UDS diagnostics. The cabin includes air conditioning, MP5 entertainment, and cruise control for driver comfort.
